P & C - Special Edition
As you would be aware the Runcorn State School P&C is in caretaker mode. At the P&C AGM on Monday March 4, all positions were vacated and no nominations for the executive positions were received. We have P&C members waiting to be led by a new executive team.
The school has been very busy over the last two weeks ensuring that:
- the P&C businesses continued to operate
- invoices were paid
- uniform orders were fulfilled
- employees of the P&C continue to be paid
- events that the P&C had committed to like the NAPLAN breakfast and election BBQ went ahead
Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. It has been wonderful to have so many parents approach staff to show their support for the next steps.
Executive roles to be filled include President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. At least two of these roles need to be filled for the P&C to come out of caretaker mode. After we have two people who have shown an interest in taking on roles, we can call a community meeting to elect an interim Executive Committee.
